This morning we were challenged about the camp ministry. Many people made great decisions for God at youth camp, and there is no doubt that this is a vital ministry. Though we didn’t post the message on line, we appreciate Bro. Holmes coming and sharing the ministries and opportunities of Harvester’s Baptist Camp.
To many people, the cross is a symbol of Christianity. It is a symbol found both in and on many churches around the world and worn as jewelry by countless people. The cross is also the theme of many beloved Christian hymns and songs such as The Old Rugged Cross; In The Cross; At the Cross; When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, and more. Recently, people have lost their jobs for insisting on wearing a cross while at work. To them, it was an emblem of their faith and it was important to wear it. In tonight’s message, What Does the Cross Mean to You? from I Corinthians chapter 1, Pastor Wyatt looked at how the Apostle Paul described the cross and some ways people view it. May God challenge your heart as you consider the importance of the cross.
