The Bible makes it clear that God sees and knows everyone, and that He is seeking all to be saved, yet many have experienced a time in their life in a church service, or some similar setting, where regardless of how many others were present, the message seemed to be just for them. Perhaps this was the way Matthew felt the day he met Jesus. There were many people gathered around Jesus, obviously He saw them all, yet Matthew records that Jesus saw Him. This was the thought of this morning’s message from Matthew 9.
It is easy to be critical of others, yet a critical, complaining spirit is something that we must guard against. In the concluding message of the series, Three C’s to Beware of, part 3, Pastor Wyatt deals with some ways to avoid being critical.
