We want to wish all the ladies a Happy Mother’s Day!
Where would we be without mothers? Actually we wouldn’t be here at all! Often motherhood is downplayed in its importance and significance, with the focus of our attention being more on careers, and other achievements. As we looked at Proverbs 31:28 this morning, we saw that women, mothers, are to be praised. We trust this morning’s message will be a blessing to you as you listen, for today is a day for Honouring Mom, but then again, so is tomorrow – and the next day!
Tonight, we continued to focus on the women of the Bible with a message from Luke 1. Looking at the life of Elisabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, we were reminded of the need for contentment, giving God the credit for what He does in our lives, and commitment to serve God. It is our prayer that the message, Lessons from Elisabeth, will be an encouragement to you.
