On January 31, 1957, the Canadian Parliament decreed that the second Monday of October would be “a day of general thanksgiving to almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed.”
Truly we are a blessed people! The blessings of God upon us individually, and upon our land are innumerable.
We meet together this weekend to celebrate God’s goodness, and to thank Him for His many blessings. If you would like to join us at one of our Sunday services, we will meet at 10:30 AM for our morning service, then following lunch, we will gather again around 1:00 PM, to once again give thanks to our Creator and Redeemer. In lieu of the afternoon service, there will be no evening service this week.
If you are unable to join us, we do wish you a very blessed Thanksgiving, and trust you too will take time to thank God for the bounty He has poured out upon us.
