No Evening Service This Sunday

July 29th Sermons are Online

Continuing on in our study of Matthew, still in chapter 13, we came to verse 44 – 46. In these verses are two wonderful parables about our great Saviour. In the first parable, Jesus is pictured as a man who found a treasure in a field. In order to get the treasure the man sold everything and bought the field. In the next parable, Jesus is pictured as a merchant seeking goodly pearls. When the man found a pearl of great price, he sold everything to purchase it. Listen to, Parables of Our Seeking Saviour, to hear the whole sermon – we trust that you will be blessed by the great love Jesus Christ has for you, and for all the people of the world.

Tonight was our monthly Hymn Sing. In addition to singing some of our favourite hymns and hearing about their history, some folks shared how God had blessed them, then we spent a few minutes in Psalm 47. Psalm 47 is a Psalm about singing praise to the Lord. We were blessed by the triumph of our Saviour, and challenged to Sing Praise with understanding.
