After Jesus had healed a man Matthew 12, some were ready to believe in Him, but others refused to believe the evidence that Jesus was the Messiah. Jesus warned these religious people that if they were not careful, they would miss the opportunity to believe, and suffer grave consequences for rejecting Him. Jesus also told the crowd that day that they would one day give account of the very words they spoke. This was the text for this morning’s sermon, A Matter of the Heart.
