No Evening Service This Sunday

March 25th Sermons online

Though our salvation is entirely free, paid in full by the Lord Jesus Christ, there is a cost to get the message of that great salvation to the world. In this morning’s message, The Cost of the Commission, Pastor Wyatt preached about the promise, power, presence, premise and provision, of persecution, as it related to Jesus’ commission to His Apostles in Matthew 10. Thankfully, those twelve men were willing to go out and spread the good news, though they knew that there would be opposition to their message. Though not all are willing to accept the Gospel, the challenge to us today is to keep spreading this good news of salvation, to give people the opportunity to hear and believe in Jesus Christ.

Who am I and why am I here? This is perhaps the question of the ages. People wonder if there is a purpose to life, that is satisfying and fulfilling. Many are searching in all the wrong places for the answers to life, coming up empty. Though tonight’s service was our monthly hymn sing so was filled with lots of singing and great testimonies, Pastor Wyatt shared some devotional thoughts from I Peter 2:9-10 entitled, Who Are We and Why are We Here?, to show that we are special to God, and that He does have a purpose for our life.
