This morning we continued our study on the church from 1 Timothy. While some may consider our text to be outdated or just something that applied to that time, we understand and believe that the Word of God transcends time, and that God knows what He is doing. While there are different positions in the church, we must not lose sight of the fact that our position does not make us more or less important as a person. In the church, There is a Place for Everyone, and Everyone has a Place.
Tonight our attention was turned towards missions as we have our missions month this month. We were challenged by a message entitled, Motivated to Missions, recognizing that the command of the Lord; the consequences of the message; and God’s companionship should motivate us to spread the Gospel both at home and abroad. Unfortunately the message didn’t get recorded, but those in attendance were challenged to make a difference.
