On July 1st, our nation will turn 145 years old! We are relatively young as nations go, but this great country does have a rich history. For many of us, Canada may not be our native land, but we have come to love it and are glad to call it home. Rich in natural beauty, Canada has certainly been blessed by God, not only in its resources, but also in its freedoms and opportunities.
As we celebrate Canada Day at Beacon Baptist Church, we look forward to our annual church picnic ~ great food, precious fellowship, games ~ time to relax, and reflect on how blessed we are to live in this wonderful country.
In lieu of our picnic, we will not have an evening service this Sunday.
