No Evening Service This Sunday

He Lives!

Nearly 2,000 years ago, Jesus died the most cruel, horrific for of death – He was crucified. Why did He do it you ask? He died in our place, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.  After dying, He was placed in a tomb, where His lifeless body lay for 3 days. To many, the situation seemed hopeless, but then the 1st day of the week came – oh, what a change!  When they went to the tomb to anoint His body early Sunday morning, His body was gone. Where? Why?How? The angel had the answer – He had risen again – just as He had promised to do!  Yes, Jesus arose victorious over sin, death and the grave.

This triumph of life over death has been celebrated for nearly 2,000 years, but it never grows old, because it is so powerful, and just as meaningful to us today.  And so, this Sunday, March 27/16, we will meet at Beacon Baptist Church to celebrate it again – will you come and join us?

Our services this week are 10:30 AM, and 1:00 PM (there will be no evening service this Sunday).
