Though hymns are familiar to those who attend Beacon, on the last Sunday evening of each month, we have a “Hymn Sing”. On this special evening, rather than the song leader picking the songs, people in the congregation request that we sing their favourite hymns. We also take time to talk about the hymn-writers and how the songs we sing came about. When you top it off with refreshments and fellowship afterwards, it makes for a most enjoyable time!
