This Sunday, commonly called Easter Sunday, is a time to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave.
The resurrection is an integral part of the Gospel message which states that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day, according to the Scriptures, I Corinthians 15:1-4. If Jesus had not died and risen again, we would have no salvation, but the good news is that Jesus did die for us, and though He was buried, He rose victorious providing eternal life for all who will accept and believe in Him. This is the good news that we joyfully proclaim at Beacon Baptist Church.
