Beacon Baptist Logo

We are excited to unveil our new logo. We are thankful to Justin Ellis for his work in designing it. We hope you like it as much as we do! We will be using it on our stationary, promotional materials and hopefully soon on our bus!

July 22nd Sermons Online

In this morning’s sermon we looked at two parables. The parable of the mustard seed is about healthy growth – the least of all seeds became the greatest among herbs. Christianity was small in its beginnings, but soon began to grow and became quite large. It is good to know that God honours small faith with great answers; He cares for individuals, not just large groups and He…

This morning we continued our series through Matthew. As we carried on in chapter 13, we came to a most sobering parable – that of the wheat and the tares. Though very simple in principle, the impact of its application is great. Some people speak of hell as difficult times on earth, but the Bible is clear that hell is a very literal…

July 8th Sermons are Online

This morning we got back to our study in Matthew. As we began Matthew 13, we came to the parable of the sower and the seed. Though we often focus on the different types of soil, Jesus specifically calls it the parable of the sower. The seed is stated to be the Word of God, so the sower must be the one who shares God’s Word. We…

Being Canada Day today, our thoughts were directed to our nation. Psalm 33:12 says, Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Seeing all the beauty and richness of Canada, there is no doubt that our country has been blessed by God. In this morning’s sermon, we looked at some of the pivotal…

Happy Canada Day!

On July 1st, our nation will turn 145 years old! We are relatively young as nations go, but this great country does have a rich history. For many of us, Canada may not be our native land, but we have come to love it and are glad to call it home. Rich in natural beauty, Canada has certainly been blessed by God, not…

Does life ever feel like a repetitive cycle? Is there a purpose to that cycle? Who designed this cycle? These were some of the questions posed in a message from Ecclesiastes 3 this morning entitled, Enjoying A Meaningful Mortality, preached by Greg Kaufman. Listen to the message to find out the answers, and a blessed gift God has given to us. As…

Today was a great day as we celebrated Father’s Day. As father’s, today is a day to ponder our responsibilities, while also enjoying the privilege God has given us in allowing us to be fathers. Father’s Day is also an opportunity to reflect on the Fatherhood of God. Though many have been let down by an earthly father, it is a wonderful…

June 10th Sermons are online

After Jesus had healed a man Matthew 12, some were ready to believe in Him, but others refused to believe the evidence that Jesus was the Messiah. Jesus warned these religious people that if they were not careful, they would miss the opportunity to believe, and suffer grave consequences for rejecting Him. Jesus also told the crowd that day that they would one day give…

June 3rd Sermons are Online

Today was the 10th anniversary of Beacon Baptist Church. As we celebrated this milestone, our thoughts and attention were taken back to the 1st service, and why Beacon Baptist Church was started. In the sermon entitled, Why Beacon Baptist Church? after a little history of the church, Pastor Wyatt preached about the distinctives that brought about Beacon Baptist Church – the Manuscript, the Message,…
